<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of maintaining a high image quality even in an environment susceptible to the effects of vibrations. <P>SOLUTION: Pixel values Σ Fk(i, j) are read from an HDD 3. Then, the sum of the pixel values Σ Fk(i, j) is calculated. The sum of pixel values Σ Fk(i, j) is divided by the number of image data 2N. Σ Fk(i, j)/2N as the division result is stored in the HDD 3. It is determined whether or not Fk(i, j)=Fk(m, n).
