<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor capable of precisely detecting the ambient temperature. <P>SOLUTION: In the temperature sensor 10, ultraviolet rays emitted from an ultraviolet LED 13 are received by a monitoring photosensor 23, and a monitoring photosensor 26 receives the fluorescence emitted from a fluorescent glass plate 24 which receives the ultraviolet rays emitted from the ultraviolet LED 13. On the basis of the output value of the monitoring photosensor 23 at this time, because a control circuit 27 controls the amount of the light emitted from the ultraviolet LED 13 so that the output value of the monitoring photosensor 26 corresponds to the ambient temperature one-to-one, the ambient temperature of the temperature sensor 10 can be detected, on the basis of the output value of the monitoring photosensor 26. Accordingly, by utilizing the light such as the ultraviolet ray or the fluorescence for the detection of the ambient temperature, external electromagnetic induction noise is unlikely to be generated, and the ambient temperature can be detected precisely. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
