PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately specify the correct location of an unburnt part. SOLUTION: This crematory 1 is provided with: cremation chambers 2; incineration bases 8 for mounting bodies 11 and 12 to be cremated in the cremation chambers 2; a discharge passage 14 for discharging combustion gas in the cremation chambers 2; combustion burners 20 for burning the bodies 11 and 12 to be cremated; flame direction change means 22, 23, 24 and 27 for changing directions of flames from the combustion burners 29; imaging means 30 and 31 for imaging images of the bodies to be cremated mounted on the incineration bases 8; a control means 40 for controlling the flame direction change means 22, 23, 24 and 27 so as to apply the flames from the combustion burners 20 to unburnt parts based on the images of the imaged bodies to be cremated. Imaging points 13 of the imaging means 30 and 31 having imaging ranges at least in the incineration bases 8 are formed in areas immediately above the incineration bases 8 so as to face nearly perpendicularly to the upper surfaces of the incineration bases 8.
