PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner tank supporting device of a liquefied gas tank capable of loading and transporting an inner tank laterally without swinging it relative to an outer tank and absorbing amount of heat contraction of the inner tank by cold. SOLUTION: This inner tank supporting device 4 is composed of a first columnar fitting 41 provided protrudedly on an upper side of the inner tank 3 and provided with a chamber for storing a spring in a tip part, a second columnar fitting 42 provided protrudedly on a lower side of the inner tank 3, a sliding cylinder 44 fitted into the first columnar fitting 41 slidably and externally and energized upward by the spring installed into the chamber for storing the spring, a plurality of first thermal insulation connection devices 48 whose one end side is connected with a first connection fitting 45 provided at the outer periphery of the sliding cylinder 44 and whose other end side is connected with a third connection fitting 47 provided at a position lower than a first connection fitting 45 on an internal wall of the outer tank 2, and a plurality of thermal insulation connection devices 49 whose one end side is connected with a second connection fitting 46 provided at the outer periphery of the second columnar fitting 42 and whose other end side is connected with the third connection fitting 47 provided at a position lower than the second connection fitting 46 on the internal wall of the outer tank 2.
