PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize behaviors of a four-wheel drive vehicle at the time of simultaneously stepping on a brake and an accelerator. SOLUTION: This method of controlling a four-wheel drive vehicle includes a step for detecting a brake actuation time, a step for detecting an acceleration opening or a throttle opening more than a predetermined value, and a step for controlling the vehicle while determining that there is no brake actuation signal when the acceleration opening or the throttle opening more than a predetermined value is detected at the same time of detecting the braking actuation time.
