PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting method by which a high cleanliness steel can continuously be cast by preventing the contamination of molten metal caused by oxidation of remained steel in a tundish while repeatedly using the tundish under a hot-state. SOLUTION: In a continuous casting method for repeatedly using the tundish just after the casting, to the successive casting under hot-state, this method is performed as the followings, in which after charging flux containing 5-30 mass% carbonaceous grains having 0.5-5 mm grain diameter and 1,200-1,500°C fusing temperature, into the molten steel poured into the tundish from a ladle at the last in a pre-casting, by 20-200 kg, the pre-casting is completed, and thereafter, the remained steel and remained slag in the tundish are discharged, and after cleaning an upper nozzle in the tundish, a sliding gate and the inner part of an immersion nozzle with gas containing oxygen, the successive casting is started within 45 min from the completion of the pre-casting without preheating in the tundish.
