PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment instrument for simultaneously performing a heating function by an infra-red source and a relaxing function on the muscles, or the like, by vibrations, for providing a synergistic effect of a heating effect and a relaxing effect. SOLUTION: This treatment instrument has a housing section 1 that houses an infra-red irradiation section 2. A vibration generating section 7 is arranged within the housing section 1 so that vibrations from the vibration generating section 7 are transmitted to the housing section 1.
