PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system, even if a fraud such as rewriting a balance recorded in a settlement card is performed when recording the balance unused for the dispensing of game media in the settlement card and returning it to a player, preventing a loss of a game parlor side as much as possible and dispensing with feed/supply of the settlement card in a card unit. SOLUTION: The card unit, when receiving a settlement card discharged from the card unit with a payment ID and a card balance recorded thereon, transmits a dispensing permission request including record information to a system controller (S47 and S47a); a system controller, when the received card balance is matched with the balance of payment information DB (S48 and S48a), transmits the dispensing permission information to the card unit (S49); and the card unit becomes in a settlement card ball dispensable state (S500).
