DRY POWDER OF PSEUDO LEAF TISSUE OF PLANT BELONGING TO THE GENUS ASPARAGUS

It is intended to provide a dry powder of a pseudo leaf tissue of a plant belonging to the genus Asparagus which contains rutin and at least 100 mg/g dry weight of saccharides, in particular, a dry powder which is a powder obtained by microwave reduced-pressure drying, far infrared reduced-pressure drying or vacuum (freeze) drying a pseudo leaf tissue of a plant belonging to the genus Asparagus. This powder is usable as a highly preferable food or drink having a light asparagus aroma and an adequate sweetness or a material for foods and drinks having the above preferable properties and being capable of supplying rutin.
