An induction heating cooking apparatus, comprising a top plate for placing a cooking container thereon, a coil, an inverter substrate, a support body, a substrate support body, and an elastic body. The coil heats the cooling container by induction heating. The inverter substrate having parts drives the heating coil. The support body is disposed above the inverter substrate and supports the heating coil. Also, the support body having a pressing boss at its upper part is pressed against the top plate through the pressing boss. The substrate support body comprises three or more support bosses holding the support body and supports the inverter substrate. The elastic body is interposed between the support body and the support bosses. A first sliding restriction part is formed on the support body, and a second sliding restriction parts are formed on the support bosses. The first sliding restriction part and the second sliding restriction parts are brought into contact with each other so that the sliding distance of the support body is smaller than the minimum value of clearances between the lower surface of the support body and the top surfaces of the parts.
