<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a vehicular restraint device. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises steps (404, 408) of determining a state of a vehicle with the determined state having a value, a step (412) of taking out the threshold of the non-misuse state based on the value of the determined state, a step (416) of taking out the threshold of an operating state based on the value of the determined state, and a step (436) of generating a restraint device operating signal when the value of the determined state exceeds the threshold for the abuse state, and also exceeds the threshold for the operating state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
