<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high-speed correction processing and to obtain a cut-out image of high image quality by correcting defective pixels according to the cut-out area of the image. <P>SOLUTION: An image processor has a 1st area-specifying means of specifying a 1st pixel area to be cut among a plurality of signals outputted from an imaging element having a plurality of pixels, a correction means for correcting the signal outputted from a defect pixel included in the imaging element, and an area-switching means for switching a 2nd pixel area to be corrected by the correcting means, according to the range of the 1st pixel area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
