PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological authentication device capable of accurately detecting suspicious person by using the biological information of person under certification judged as unregistered for analogically inferring the suspicious person. SOLUTION: The biological authentication device comprises the following steps: for registering a facial image of a person under certification processed as unregistered as the information of unregistered person; for registering as the information of analogical suspicious person by extracting the analogical information of unregistered person from the registered information of unregistered person when meeting a certain condition; and for judging the person under certification as an analogical suspicious person or not by comparing the acquired facial image of the person under certification (unregistered) with the registered information of the analogical suspicious person when a new unregistered person is detected later; and in case of the analogical suspicious person, for registering the acquired facial image of the person under certification as the information of unregistered person and updating the information of analogical suspicious person when the person under certification is judged as an analogical suspicious person based on the facial image of the person under certification.
