PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of obtaining good steering feeling and high steering stability, even if variation in characteristics of components structuring a steering mechanism exist. SOLUTION: The electric power steering device comprises a first deviation calculating means calculating a deviation of steering characteristic, on the basis of a torque sensor value to a rotation angle of an electric motor and a target torque sensor value to the rotation angle of the electric motor stored in advance, in an inspection process of a factory, without a steering angle sensor; a first correcting means correcting a control map in case that the deviation is not less than a predetermined value; a steering state estimating means estimating a state of changing lanes at predetermined high vehicular speed; a second deviation calculating means calculating a deviation of steering characteristic on the basis of a torque sensor value to a rotation angle of the electric motor in this steering state and a target torque sensor value; and a second correcting means correcting the control map in case that the deviation is not less than a predetermined value.
