<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet carrying device for suppressing carrying resistance caused by a tilt regulating member. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet carrying device comprises a paper feeding member (K) for feeding a recording sheet (S) housed in a paper feeding tray (TR1) for housing the recording sheet (S), and the tilt regulating member (28) having a plurality of raising supported by a regulating member main body supported on an inner surface of a side sheet guide (27) for regulating a position of a side end in a sheet width direction of a recording sheet (S) bundle housed in the paper feeding tray (TR1), provided only at a position higher than the recording sheet (S) fed from the paper feeding tray (TR1), for regulating a tilt of the recording sheet (S) while the raising (28b) is brought into contact with the side end of the recording sheet (S) when the fed recording sheet (S) is tilted to a sheet carrying direction, and moved upward along the side sheet guide (27). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
