<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more properly instruct printing of an image according to capacity of a work memory of a printer. <P>SOLUTION: When setting of disposition or the like of an image to each image frame of a selected template is preformed and when a print instruction is performed (S100-S120), machine type information is acquired from the printer to decide the storage capacity of the work memory of the printer (S130, S140), an allocation amount of the work memory to the image disposed in each image frame is decided, rotation of the image or resizing of each image based on the allocation amount is performed (S150, S160), the resized image is written into a storage medium, and print layout information is transmitted to the printer (S170-S200). As a result, a total amount of data amount of each image transmitted to the printer can be made to be within the storage capacity of the work memory to improve processing efficiency of various kinds of image processing on the printer side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
