<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a septic tank capable of stabilizing the environment in an aerobic treatment tank and facilitating a stable water treatment over a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The septic tank comprises an aerobic treatment tank E which contains carriers C1 carrying microorganisms and includes a diffusing pipe D1 causing a convectional current in the water to be treated by supplying bubbles and which is further provided with a flowing out preventing member 10 for preventing the flowing out of the carriers C1 out of the aerobic tank. The flowing out preventing member 10 substantially covering the whole area of the aerobic treatment tank is provided at the position higher than the steady water level of the water to be treated in the aerobic treatment tank as well as any of the outlets for the water to be treated to flow out through out of the aerobic treatment tank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
