PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ditching machine having a purpose enabling a ditching work without slanting to the right or the left, in the boarding port and the ditching plate even though an operator rides on the ditching machine, keeping the shape of a ditch to be made and lightening fatigue of an operator and making the working environment favorable because a power source is arranged behind an operator. SOLUTION: The central point 28 (the central point of a wheel at the center point of the wheel width) of the wheel of a drive part 2 of the ditching machine 1 constituted so that an operator 8 can get board or either the wheel or the tangential line 29 of the ground face or both of them are positioned so that the separately cutting apex 16 of the ditching part 3 and the center (a symmetrical center line when the advancing direction is made as a reference) of the boarding position 4 are positioned on a substantially straight line.
