PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flush valve capable of sufficiently fulfilling the purpose for economical use of water by fastening the closing motion of a main valve while securing the maximum instant flush flow rate sufficient for washing a toilet bowl. SOLUTION: The flush valve includes a water supply passage 10, a chief valve 12, a pressure chamber 16, a first and a second water introduction holes 34, 36, a start-up valve 20 opening the drain passage 18 and actuating the valve opening motion of the main valve 12, and an introduction water regulating valve 38 opening/closing the second water introduction hole 36 and it is constituted of them. While closing the chief valve 12, following the main valve 12, the introduction water regulating valve 38 is moved, the second water introduction hole 36 is kept in the closed state and a following movement mechanism 50 to close the introduction water regulating valve 38 is added in the final period of the opening movement of the main valve 12.
