PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate accurately a fuel consumption on a route to the destination, when the destination is set in a navigation device or the like. SOLUTION: The fuel consumed in traveling is stored in a fuel consumption history database 13 in each road kind in the classified state by occurrence of congestion in daily traveling time. The fuel consumption corresponding to each road kind and a congestion road is calculated from the history of the fuel consumption. When the route is searched for, an estimated fuel consumption when traveling the route is calculated by using the fuel consumption corresponding to the road kind and the congestion road related to the route, and reported to a driver on a screen as the estimated fuel consumption.
