PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate inspecting method for clearly and easily confirming the exposed part of a lithographic printing plate, which has realized development-free photographic method, and a plate inspecting table used in the plate inspecting method. SOLUTION: The inspection of the lithographic printing plate is performed by arranging a lithographic printing plate after exposure on a member, which has a color differenceΔE*ab of at least 100 or a lightness difference ¾ΔL*¾ of at least 50 based on the chromaticity and lightness, which are obtained by measuring a lithographic printing original plate having a sensitizing layer on a transparent support under the state being placed on a white coat paper. The plate inspecting table has a structure for arranging a lithographic printing plate after exposure to be inspected on a member, which has a color differenceΔE*ab of at least 100 or a lightness difference ¾ΔL*¾ of at least 50 based on the chromaticity and lightness, which are obtained by measuring the lithographic printing original plate having the sensitizing layer on the transparent support under the state being placed on the white coat paper.
