PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search more quickly a desired image cut when editing. SOLUTION: When an adjusted value change by ATW in photographing is detected, it is provided to a white balance change detection circuit 16. Changes of shutter speed in photographing, gain, filter, and aperture are detected, a detection result shows brightness of an object of shooting, and the result is provided to a circuit 16 as information to indicate it is photographed either indoors or outdoors. When at least one of the adjusted value change by ATW or a change of photographing place indoor/outdoor is detected, the circuit 16 provides electronic mark data generating circuit 40 therewith as a white balance changing point. The circuit 40 generates electronic mark data according to time information showing the white balance changing point. Changes of a photographer's intention, a photographing environment, and the object of photographing are reflected to the electronic mark data.
