PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a plurality of map pictures by making the arrangement relation of the plurality of map pictures correspond to the display position of each map picture. SOLUTION: A method for displaying the list of a plurality of map pictures includes the following steps: a step to acquire and display a map picture serving as a base by using a map picture retrieving system/service; a step to acquire display position information of the map picture to be added on a display device according to a request received from an input device to add a map picture; a step to refer to a rule DB and calculate latitude/longitude of the place for displaying the additional map picture on the basis of the arrangement relation with the map picture serving as a base; a step to refer to the rule DB and create a retrieving formula for acquiring the map picture displaying the place of the latitude/longitude; a step to access the map picture retrieving system/service by using the retrieving formula and acquire the map picture corresponding to the retrieving formula; and a step to display the map picture acquired in the process of accessing at the display position on the display device specified by a user.
