PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for a vehicle using a cross-flow fan capable of suppressing an increase in the power consumption of a blower and increasing a wind quantity passing a heat exchanger. SOLUTION: The cooling device for the vehicle using the blower 6 in a form of a cross-flow fan is configured so that an opening 611 to release part of a running wind flowing toward the blower 6 to the outside of a casing 61 is formed at the casing 61 in its part upstream in an air flow of a stabilizer 610. Accordingly the running wind tended to flow to a region A obstructing the rotation of an impeller 60 is released from the opening 611, so that the wind flowing to the region A is reduced in quantity.
