An optical disc device which can ensure rigidity of a tray which holds an optical disc is provided. At the time of storing an optical disc (12) in a tray (20) stacked in a main body (13), a holding part (21) provided on the tray (20) holds the optical disc (12). Since the holding part (21) holds the optical disc (12) from a side of a label plane (12a) of the optical disc (12), a recording plane (12b) on the opposite side to the label plane (12a) can be released without providing a notched part on the tray (20). Thus, rigidity of the tray (20) can be ensured.
