[PROBLEMS] To provide a deodorant which is safe and has a high deodorant effect. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The deodorant contains a polyisoprene and is safe and highly deodorant. The polyisoprene preferably is trans polyisoprene. The polyisoprene can be obtained from a natural material. In this case, it is more desirable to use trans polyisoprene extracted from trees of Eucommia ulmoides and gutta-percha.
