The method involves suspending a supporting cable on a soil working device that is lowered from a supporting device and introduced into ground. The soil working device is raised from the ground by a supporting cable that is connected to a holding frame. The soil working device part of the cable is lowered or raised for introducing a tensile force via a holding frame (10) into the ground. An independent claim is also included for an apparatus for working a soil, particularly for performing a soil working method.
