<p>The passive protection device is for installation next to a traffic lane (2) in a vehicle highway and has posts fixed on the ground (3) and a guide rail sequence (14,15) of wood fixed to them. Beneath the guide rail sequence is a suspended guide plate sequence (32) fixed via outwardly directed tabs (22), composed of guide plates (34) with edge strips (36) inclinedly directed away from the traffic lane. The guide rails are fixed to the posts via brackets (9) trapezoidal in horizontal cross-section and first intended break points (10). The tabs are fitted to lateral flanges of the bracket.</p> |
