FIELD: launching of launch vehicle from sea-going craft. SUBSTANCE: launch vehicle is secured on launch table equipped with jet deflector. Launch table is placed in launch tube of shipboard matrix together with launch vehicle for vertical motion. after which compressed air is fed under launch table which is weighed out. Then acceleration is imparted to launch table with launch vehicle by supply of water by means of compressed air matrix ballast tank under table into gap between telescopic tube of pneumatic member and launch tube of matrix. Distance run by launch table is checked to increase pressure in ballast tank, if necessary. After the required distance has been covered by launch table, delivery of compressed air to tank and under table is discontinued. When gas discharge surface of jet deflector gets beyond upper shear of matrix, coupling of launch vehicle with launch table is broken and first-stage engine ignition is switched on, after which speed of launch table is cancelled and delivery of water from ballast tank of matrix is discontinued. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of launch vehicle from sea-going vessel due to reduced time of action of gas-dynamic jet of engine on vessel. 2 cl, 1 dwg
