<p>In a device for applying a sealing force to an assembly of stacked filter modules, by applying axial pressure by at least two consolidating elements, at least two of which lie on opposite sides of the assembly and together apply spring pressure, the spring pressure is created by at least one spring element (24) located between the consolidating elements (10, 27) and in the sealing region (15) surrounding the filter modules. Independent claims are included for the following: (A) a filter module assembly comprising at least one filter module with multiple filter cells having a central opening, incorporating the sealing device as above; and (B) a filter system comprising a filter housing containing the filter module assembly.</p> |
