FIELD: organic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: in order to prepare n-propyl substituted fullerene, toluene solution of (C60) fullerene is reacted with excessive amount of their solution of n-propylmagnesium bromide (n-PrMgBr) or propyl zirconacene dichloride Cp2ZrCl2 in argon atmosphere under normal condition for 8-12 h, and reaction mixture is then treated with aqueous hydrochloric acid, C60 to n-PrMgBr molar ratio is 1:(50-150), catalyst is used in amount of 1-3 mole % with respect to n-PrMgBr. The resulting compounds are used in organic synthesis and as original semiproducts for preparing biologically active substances for medicine and agriculture.
