A cast resin transformer comprises at least one lower voltage winding and at least one upper winding having two winding parts in parallel (5,6) and taps to adjust the voltage. At least one tap (13) of both windings is at the same potential and the taps have a common connection (15) to a voltage-adjusting stepping switch circuit (16).
