An electrical plug has a rotatable earth pin assembly, comprising an earth pin (or dummy earth pin) 120 mounted on an arm (122, Fig 4A). The assembly can move between a folded and an unfolded position. In the unfolded position the assembly is interlocked with the plug body through a locking tab (123, Figs 4A and 5) on a snap lock (125, Fig 5). The assembly is held in the folded position by locking pins (127a, 127b, Figs 2-4B). This means that the plug is more compact when stored. |
