A combustion-type power tool (1) having a cooling arrangement for cooling a cylinder (20). The tool includes a housing (2), a cylinder head (11) at one end of the housing, a push lever (9) disposed at another end of the housing (2), and a combustion chamber frame (10) including a base section (10A) and a head section (10B). The head section (10B) has a disc like connecting portion (10B1) extending from an end of the base section (10A) and a sleeve like abutment section (10B2) extending from the connecting portion (10B1) toward a cylinder head (11). A fan (19) is disposed in a combustion chamber (26) and is fixed to a rotation shaft (18A) of a motor (18) supported to the cylinder head (11). The fan (19) has fan blades. The fan blades define a widthwise center line (A) in the axial direction of the rotation shaft (18A). The center line (A) is offset from the connecting portion (10B1) and toward the push lever (9). The fan blades define widthwise edges (B) in confrontation with the cylinder head (11). The widthwise edge (B) is positioned in alignment with the connecting portion (10B1) or offset therefrom toward the cylinder head (11).
