Method for making a hydraulical transportable solid/liquid mixture

The ground material and binder are mixed with water in a mixer, with the amount of water determined by the gravimetric quantity of material and binder. The first amount of water is less than normally required, determined empirically from various ratios of material and binder. The resulting mix is measured and a second, controlled amount of water is added and mixed. The mixture is passed to a reactor where the pressure drop in the pump line is measured and compared with the maximum allowable level. This enables the control to accurately determine the final amount of water to be added prior to pumping the mixture to the destination. The monitoring system measures the consistency of the mixture, the shear properties etc. The measuring systems use functions as defined by Ostwald, Bingham and Newton.
