FIELD: blasting devices used for development of oil and gas wells. SUBSTANCE: shaped charge has an envelope, explosive pot, metal facing, initiator, cover which is installed on the charge end face. The explosive pot is made in the form of a truncated cone with a cylinder near the larger base. The thickness of the cylindrical part of the explosive pot at the base equals 0.2 to 0.3 of the facing thickness. The facing is made of material with a density of 7 to 10 g/cu.cm, static tensile strength exceeding 160 MPa, and has a thickness of 1.5 to 3% of the diameter of the conical part and 3 to 7% of the diameter of the cylindrical part of the explosive pot. The cover is made in the form of a body of revolution with an internal profile in the form of a truncated cone with an annular shoulder on the larger base. The shoulder width equals the summary thickness of the explosive pot and facing at their foundation. EFFECT: enhanced piercing capacity of the charge. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 2 tbl
