An apparatus to adsorb clouding components in a liquid (1) e.g. proteins or polyphenol compounds, using a granulate adsorbent (22) which can be regenerated, having a cylinder (21) to contain the liquid and a cage (2) holding the adsorbent, is new. At least one cage wall (3) is permeable to the liquid, as a sieve wall with a mesh width of 10-40 mu m, to bring the liquid into contact with the adsorbent. The adsorbent is regenerated using a concentrated acid and/or base, hot water and/or degassed water. |
