Throwing and catching apparatus for a ball game

An apparatus for a ball game comprises a straight or curved tube with a thrower and catcher attachment secured to either end of the tube. Handles are provided on the tube so that a user can hold the tube with both hands. The tube may be used to store a number of spare balls or to allow a ball to pass from one catcher and thrower attachment to the other. A release and retaining mechanism may be provided to restrict movement of a ball within the apparatus.
