The present invention refers to a modular system for exchanging money between gaming machines and players, the system being cashless and using a plastic rigid card with an integrated chip activated by a Card Manager. Once initialised or activated, each card may be provided with credit for playing from a cash module, the system having the option of providing credit to the user by a mobile cashier clerk which directly goes to the machine where the user is playing and provides him with the required amount without going to the cash. Each linked machine includes card reading devices and an LCD where the player visualizes the instructions for entering his personal identification number (PIN) through a keyboard in order to know his card balance. Each group of machines or loop is connected to a central device that collects individual data from each machine with regard to played, wined and lost points. The devices of each loop are simultaneously connected to a server that stores and verifies t he data of the whole group of machines. The inventive system contains a CCTV module that allows a floor supervisor to consult in real and historical time the operations performed by each card, machine or cash without altering the information of the consulted operations. The system also contains the Linked jackpot and Machine Manager modules, which allow the administration both to maintain special prizes and to deactivate machines respectively. The present invention also includes a report module for providing access to all reports related to account registers, track of players and operations. A Redemption module allows players to convert points or credits into prizes or money, or transfer the balance into a personal bankcard. The whole configuration of the system is performed trough the System Administration Module. The system can be appealed in its totality.
