PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and efficient material reversal device capable of carrying out reversal without forming a vertical hole below the device and raising the material even against the material having a long length. SOLUTION: A reversal driving unit is rotatably provided along a material conveying direction and an upper driving conveyor means and a lower driving conveyor means are provided on the reversal driving unit in opposed to a vertical direction approximately making a pass line as a border. A material throwing end of the lower driving conveyor means is arranged such that it is extended to a material throwing side longer than the material throwing end of the upper driving conveyor means. The rotation center of the reversal driving unit is offset-arranged to a material conveying out side as compared with a center in a pass line direction of the lower driving conveyor means.
