<p>A rear hub assembly for a bicycle has a hub (30) with two flanges (31). A recess (32) is defined in one of the flanges (31). Two bearings (401,402) are installed in the hub (30). A sleeve (38) is fastened between and coaxial with the bearings (401,402) by two collars (39). A hub spline (20) has a ratchet (21) engaged in the recess (32) of the hub (30).
