A towed cleaner comprises a hose (6) attached to a fan (1) driven by a motor (2) such that the hose (6) sucks up waste from the ground and discharges it into a chute (7) for bagging and hose supporting means through which the driver of the towing vehicle directs the end of the hose (6) to suck up the waste. The hose supporting means has a follower mechanism which ensures that a handle (10) for directing the end of the hose remains within the reach of the driver of the tow vehicle for ready operation. |
