SUBSTANCE: process of electroslag remelting includes manufacture of billets from production scrap, manufacture of consumable electrodes from them, injection of flux, melting of consumable electrode and formation of ingot. Compact waste of copper and/or its alloys is used in the capacity of production scrap. Consumable electrodes or billets for their manufacture are subjected in addition to thermal treatment-holding at temperature of 300-600 C in the course of 0.5-4.0 h.
