The invention relates to the wine industry, in particular to a process for producing a strong aged beverage. The process, according to the invention, includes ageing of the new winy distillates in the presence of oak wood, preparation of the blending from aged winy distillates, softened water, sugar syrup and caramel, repose of the blending, refrigeration and filtration thereof. At the same time, preparation of the blending is carried out in two consecutive stages, in the first stage there are mixed the aged winy distillates, then the distillate mixture is additionally aged in the presence of oak wood during at least 3 months, and in the second stage there are administered the remaining components of blending. The result consists in improving the quality and in increasing the stability of the finished product.
