PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the overheating of a heater when a fluorescent lamp which serves as a backlight is heated by the heater. SOLUTION: When a heater 4 is energized, an energization report signal is outputted to an external apparatus 16 from a heater circuit 15. When an energization interrupt signal is inputted to the heater circuit 15 from the external apparatus 16, the excitation to the heater 4 is interrupted. When the external apparatus 16 detects that the energization to the heater 4 continues for the prescribed period or longer based on the energization report signal outputted to the external apparatus 16 from the heater circuit 15, the energization interrupt signal is outputted to the heater circuit 15 from the external apparatus 16 based on the detection result, then the energization to the heater 4 can be interrupted, and the overheat of the heater 4 occurring when the energization to the heater 4 continues for the prescribed period or longer can be prevented. |
