<p>The invention relates to a machine for hot injection moulding of plastics with a view to making pieces of various shapes and sizes. According to the invention, the machine comprises two main assemblies, namely an injection moulding assembly (A) comprising an injection cylinder (20) provided with an injection piston (42) and an assembly (B) for closing-opening a mould (1). The mould (1) wherein the injection takes place has the upper die (1a) fixed under an upper supporting plate (2) which is in its turn fastened by means of four vertical members (3) at a certain distance off a pedestal (4), while the lower die (1b) is fixed on a mobile lower plate (5) and moves therewith from the pedestal to the upper die along the four members, under the action of two pairs of knuckle joints (16a, 16b) which are driven, in their turn, by a leading screw (7) driven in any of the two moving directions by an electric motor (8), by means of a speed reduction unit known per se, the injection cylinder (20) of the injection moulding assembly (A) approaching the plate (2) of the upper die (1a) and fastening itself thereon by the axial motion of a leading screw (21), integral with the injection cylinder (20) by means of an injection pressure adjusting device (C), the leading screw (21) being machined as a several-threads screw, about said screw there rotating a worm gear (22) radially-axially supported and driven by a worm (23) rotated by an electric motor (24) by means of a speed reduction unit. The entire injection moulding assembly (A) is fastened on the fixed upper plate (2) of the mould closing assembly by means of two vertical columns (25) along which it can slide.</p> |
