Rod (3) and nut (4) attached to jack (2) via knuckle axis (9) is kept in its vertical position due to action from gas jack (13) applying force F1. Due to oil flow P2 under part S, jack, rod and nut are moved vertically along line C until reaching stop. When jack reaches stop in its cylinder (1), pressure of oil kept in chamber (S) increases, which induces rotation of rod and nut by 90 deg around axis (9). This frees slip plane completely so that tool can be change rapidly. If hydraulic flow and pressure are reverse, rod and nut go back to its original position.
