<p>The device is mounted at the rear end of an inner tube in the drill and includes a catch for fixing the inner tube into position inside the outer tube and releasing a valve for a rinsing medium when the inner tube is inserted into the drill strand and into the outer tube. A safety mechanism holds the catch in a tensioned position before the inner tube is inserted into the outer tube. The inner tube contains the valve and is used to collect a sample. The outer tube is provided with the drill crown and is connected to a front end of the drill strand. The valve is locked into position during the insertion of the inner tube into the outer tube.</p> |
