发明名称 PROCESS FOR THE REMOVAL OF STYRENE EVAPORATION IN OPERATION WITH NON-SATURATED POLYESTER RESINS
摘要 The process is used for the removal of injurious evaporation from synthetic non-saturated polyester resins - orthophtalic, isophtalic, bisphenolic and the modified, dissolved in styrene in ratio from 4:1 to 1:1, in making products of glass-fiber plastic, polymerconcrete, lacquers, compositions for coating, plastering, insulation and others using these resins. By the method from 1 to 4% cross-linking chemical compound is added to the activated resin. Acceleration of the co-polymerization of the resin with the styrene is achieved, the styrene evaporation is discontinued and the polymer composition is cross-linked 3-dimensionally. The building in of the entire available quantity of styrene in the cross-linked structure brings about an increase of the resin by up to 20% and to considerable improvement of its strength indicators, stability to heat, solvents, corrosion medium and others. Thus there is no need any longer of multiple air exchange in the working premises by means of fans, heat treatment using air heaters and thermal chambers and the costs related to their use. The environment is protected from styrene fumes pollution.
