oil production industry, specifically, compounds for water encroachment of oil strata penetrable heterogeneously to raise oil output. SUBSTANCE: technical objective of invention lies in increased efficiency of compound thanks to reduced penetrability of highly penetrable flooded porous conduits, thanks to increased envelopment of stratum over direction of strata and prevention of swelling of clay component of stratum penetrable heterogeneously. Compound for water encroachment of oil strata penetrable heterogeneously includes sodium silicate, polymer and mineralized water. Hydroxyehtylcellulose is used as polymer, water with mineralization of 100-250 g/l is used in the capacity of mineralized water. Compound has following proportion of components, per cent by mass: sodium silicate 4.0-6.0; hydroxyethylcellulose 0.4-0.6; mineralized water being the balance.
